John Shakespeare

John Shakespeare is a Sydney-based cartoonist, caricaturist and illustrator for The Sydney Morning Herald, having previously worked for the Brisbane Courier-Mail and The Sydney Sun. He grew up in Brisbane, inspired by cartoonists of MAD and Cracked magazines. He has won three Stanley Awards, in 1992, 2004 and 2005.

Works also displayed at Behind the Lines 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018.
