Cartoon of the signature of Chris Roy Taylor

ROY

Chris ‘Roy’ Taylor has been a professional cartoonist and illustrator for over 25 years and his work appears daily in the Herald Sun. Roy creates daily cartoons (which can range from federal politics to the Kardashians), illustrations, and fine art. He has illustrated and co-authored a collection of zany children’s books on a wide variety of subjects from Aussie Football Anthems to Time Travelling Toilets.

Chris is regularly asked why he goes under the pen name of Roy. He normally tells people that it is required as part of the witness protection program. However, in reality, it is just his middle name!

Works also displayed at Behind the Lines 2015, 2016 and 2018.
