In May 2023 federal Treasury referred Price Waterhouse Coopers Australia (PwC) to the Australian Federal Police for criminal investigation. There had been serious mishandling of confidential information between the firm’s government contracts branch and its multinational tax advice branch. PwC’s former head of international tax, Peter Collins, had passed on in-confidence information about planned measures to address tax avoidance by multinational firms.

As an external consultant, a potato investigates, through a series of internal meetings, the misuse of confidential information at PwC.
