British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was one of a growing number of world leaders testing positive for COVID-19. Succumbing to a serious case of the disease, he spent three days in intensive care. Just weeks before testing positive, he had been outspoken about continuing to shake hands: ‘I was at a hospital the other night where I think there were coronavirus patients and I was shaking hands with everybody.’
