Rolf Heimann

Rolf Heimann was born in Germany. After migrating to Australia, he worked as a fruit picker, in factories and on the railways. He took part in anti-nuclear protests and sailed the Pacific for two years before penning his first cartoon in 1975. He has authored over 50 books, mainly for children, and was Cartoonist of the Year in 2003.
