Graeme Dazeley always wanted to be a cartoonist and started freelancing while living in Tasmania. He was ‘prepared to work for anyone who would pay money and quite a few that didn’t’. By 1982 his cartoons were a regular feature in the Launceston Examiner, and he also had work published in The Australian, the Mercury, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Bulletin and the Tasmanian Mail. His work also appeared in a number of books and other publications including training manuals, videos and advertising promotions.
