No words are necessary in Andrew Dyson’s cartoon on the difficulties young Australians face in getting onto the bottom rungs of ‘the property ladder’ in the current housing market. Census data released in March 2023 showed that young people make up a quarter of Australia’s homeless, and that women of all ages accounted for the majority of newly homeless.
