Having had six prime ministers in 15 years, Australia has plenty of opinionated former leaders ready to call out their successors. Labor’s Kevin Rudd and the Liberals’ Malcolm Turnbull have both been outspoken critics of Scott Morrison. Former Foreign Minister Alexander Downer has also weighed in, describing Rudd and Turnbull as ‘mean-spirited and bitter’, labels Rudd publicly rejected.
