Between 14 March 2020 and 6 May 2021 then Prime Minister Scott Morrison was secretly sworn into five different ministries. One of them was the Industry, Science, Energy and Resources portfolio. Morrison used the position to reject a license application for offshore gas exploration, overruling the existing minister, Keith Pitt.
