Mc Barnaby's

Barnaby Joyce, Leader of the National Party and member for the regional NSW seat of New England, sparked allegations of pork-barrelling when he relocated a national regulator, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority, to his electorate. At a Senate Estimates Committee hearing in March it was revealed that staff from the Authority had been working out of a local fast-food restaurant because no office space was available in Armidale to accommodate them.
