The rehistorification of Julia Gillard

On 26 June 2013 Prime Minister Gillard went to Government House and resigned her commission. Ms Gillard said she was proud to be the first female prime minister and included amongst her achievements “the price on carbon, education reforms, the introduction of DisabilityCare, the Royal Commission into sexual abuse of children in institutions and foreign policy achievements.”
