The Gold Tax

In the 100 metre freestyle final at the 2012 Summer Olympics Australian swimmer, James Magnussen, came second by one-hundredth of a second, winning the silver medal. As the event was held after the carbon tax was introduced on 1 July 2012 Jon Kudelka mockingly attributes the loss to the new tax.
